Connecting two pairs of AirPods

Connecting two pairs of AirPods to an iOS device-

is easy with Apple's Share Audio feature. Here are the steps:

Connect the first pair: Make sure the first pair of AirPods is connected to your iPhone or iPad.

Open Control Center: Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen and tap the AirPlay icon.

Connect the second pair:

If it's AirPods or AirPods Pro, open the case and hold it close to the device.

If it's AirPods Max, hold the headphones close to the device.

Select "Share Audio" when the second pair appears on the screen.

Confirm the connection by selecting "Share Audio" again.

Now both users can listen to the same audio at the same time! Note that Spatial Audio and head tracking are disabled when two pairs of AirPods are connected

Connecting two pairs of AirPods to an Android device-

works a little differently than on an iOS device, as Android lacks Apple's Share Audio feature. Here's one method that might work:

Connect the first pair of AirPods

Open the Bluetooth settings on your Android device.

Put the AirPods into pairing mode by holding down the button on the case until the light flashes white.

Select the AirPods from the list of available devices and connect.

Connect the second pair of AirPods

Some Android devices allow multiple Bluetooth connections.

Go back to Bluetooth settings and try connecting the second pair of AirPods in the same way.

If your device doesn't support this, you can use a Bluetooth splitter or an app that enables audio sharing.

Adjust audio settings

Some Android devices have a Dual Audio feature that can be enabled in the Bluetooth settings.

Check to see if your device supports Bluetooth audio sharing.
